Hi,
using DeleD Lite here.
When I extrude a surface, from within a 2D view, sometime the extruding follows the mouse direction, sometime it goes in the opposite direction.
Are there any missing option settings ? What's wrong ?
Help appreciated,
Sergio. |

Nothing's wrong. The extrude tool works by dragging the mouse to the left or right. It does not take any camera orientation into account. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

ok, but in this tutorial:
http://www.delgine.com/software/deled/tutorials/videos/extrudelevel.zip
the extrude goes exactly in the same direction of the mouse dragging, if you get my drift.
Drag left, extrude left. Drag right, extrude right, I mean, it follows the mouse movement.
When I drag in the top view instead, the extruding does not go always in the mouse direction, and that is someway confusing.
Is may be in the Lite version the dragging not really "optimized" ?

Nope, there's no difference between the PRO and LITE versions. Both use the left/right way of extruding things. I can understand it being a bit confusing with some geometry though. Just remember that dragging to the left or right will extrude your polygon. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
