Hey guys
I noticed the material editor has a Save DML button. Is there any way to load a DML (if not, should there be one)?
Thanks |

You can select the material list from the Defaults page of the option screen (within editing settings).
A "load materials" button on the materials editor makes sense, but take into account that you are dealing with an active scene that is actually using a bunch of materials. |

Yeah.. Load would be more like "append" in this case. |

it makes sense to have a load dml button not ( or and ) a "merge dml".
so you can have 'profiles" that you can use to model same kind of stuff
you don't use same textures to model an airplane and to model an human character.
so having a way to load different material profiles instead of making them from scratch everytime you startup a new project can be good. |

It seems that it's not very hard to add this feature. The functionality is allready there (TDMLReader.Load). I might add this if more people would like it. |
