|
|
Hey guys
I was testing whether my "new" code would break the Edge connect tool, but It appeared as if it was allready broken. If that is actually the case, I will just apply my new code regardless of it's effect on Edge-connect, and then I'll fix edge connect.
I tried the following:
1. Create a grid
2. Delete a few rows of polygons, so that the grid splits in two parts
3. Select two edges that could form a bridge over that "gap", if they were connected
4. Click "connect" or press C
Nothing happens.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks |

AFAIK the edge connect tool has never worked this way (creating polys).
Only has ever created a new edge between selected if they were part of a polygon. |

This is by design, for now anyway. DeleD only connects edges if they are in the same polygon.
This can be improved someday, of course. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
