I've created an Ornate 4 Poster Bed today. The corner posts have fluted inlays, along with the blankets, pillows, finials and feet, makes this quite a high poly count. Probably worth it for a featured model in a set.

You can get the model here http://www.awm.mars.yourinside.com/furniture/ornate4posterbed.html
The model downloads as a Zip file, the DPS file is inside.

Thanks for the praise Very Happy

I spent 2 hours modelling this, followed by 3 hours UV mapping it.

Looking at the topic thread date, been quite a while since I have made any models. Spent a couple of hours today catching up, and realised how much I enjoy making objects just for fun.

I made a range of Porch Structures that use Gallows Brackets to support them, the ones I used on the models are a little more ornate that a standard one, so I created a prefab version so you can swap the ornate ones, to save polygons if needed.

Here is the link to the Prefab formatted Gallows Bracket http://www.awm.mars.yourinside.com/Prefabs/StandardGallowsBracket.dpf It uses a standard texture that comes with DeleD, feel free to swap that.

I created a few Porch Structures that you are free to use within your own projects.

The models are packed inside the DPS format, that includes the textures I used. You will need the Importer pluggin to be able to use them. The textures I used are not optimised, so the files make appear larger than expected.

Very nice work indeed! I really like those last two models - they're my favorite. Cool

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I intend to make more in the near future. I really like making those props that are in a scene, but taken for granted, that without them, reduces the illusion of reality.

Today, I spent a couple of hours making a Leather Bound Briefcase. The texturing took longer than the actual modelling phase.

As always the model is in DPS format, which includes all textures used.

All your models look fantastic, but I cannot get passed that bed. It actually looks real. (so does the briefcase, but the latches give it away)
