Thought I'd share this here too (as I did on the jMonkey forums). Myself and another are developing a checkers game client for our software engineering class. Another team developed the server (written in C#). You can chat/private message other players in the lobby, and create/join tables to get games going in the lobby. The 3D implementation is of course using jMonkey via its awt canvas feature. It still needs some work on optimization and bug fixes, and we have some plans to add some more features/jazz it up for next week. But the game's playable.

The table's rather horrible, but yesterday I redid the checkers with a nicer texture. All deled via my DeleD -> jMonkey pipeline. Certainly not the most thrilling use of deled, but a use nonetheless. |

Very nice! It's good to see a playable demo like this. The 3D stuff looks a bit blurry. Is that jmonkey specific? _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

It looks like you can blame that on the compression and/or Camtasia Studio |
