Yes, but I still need to download the whole file, before 'discovering' whats inside the folders Smile. I was trying to avoid that if possible by knowing in advance and only downloading what I don't already have.

If thats not possible, or too much work, np. Smile

Back to the Theme - and straight off:
I made some tests to support another 3D-game made by a forum member, which has a nice, funny look. I tried to do something fitting, but i am
addicted to a more "realistic" style. So this is my version of the starting isle of that game:

Doing all that is needed for a complete game like this will cause a time conflict
with my own project, so i must reduce my help to some objects etc.
Sorry. But i like the scene and wanted to show it to all of you.

That's beautiful. You need to start getting paid for work of this quality.

Hi Jeroen!
I hope, 1600 x 965 is big enough. Do you dream about holydays?
I say NOPE - Keep on developing, hehe!

Nice days to you all busy constructors AND developers!

To Jeroen:
It makes me proud when the scene get's Your private interest. A real honour to me, thanks.

To John:
Payed? I didn't really get paid for my real job.
They call me system administrator, but i programmed all the realtime planning software and alot more,
but my monthly bill is hardly enough to get to work and have a "normal" living.
But i'm not chasing money. After cancelling a 15-year-during "Making an animated movie" nothing kills me.
Now i'm working just for fun, and maybe to show "the world" what's in me.
Creating this world "Meynis" (which is named for saying "This is MY world", german meines=mine!) is
with finding DeleD FUN! If anybody seeing this and has a chance to put it in a commercial product, okay. But i do it first for me.
Just to enjoy, wandering through a "world" created by my own.
The film project has nothing to do with this actual scenery. It was a SciFi-Story; and i think, i will never do this in 3D again.
Some day maybe i make an overview of the lost work. We sculpted landscapes and puppets(all scaled approx. 1:5), took pictures,
digitalized them to created a very sophisticated slide-show with some 3D and CGI-GFX added.
But - all that has needed at least 5 to 10 crafting people. But with "us two" it has no chance to ever come out. So it died....
Now i concentrate an my new, one-man-project. Some day you will go "interactive" through Meynis and have (i hope) some fun,
exploring MMO-like what i wish to see in upcoming games.

It's awesome. Wink

One thing you can improve is the transition between water and land. It's quite hard now. Use vertex-colors with alpha to get around this (I did that with my little beach scene).

Also, the tree's and the plants are pretty amazing. Where did you get those textures? Could you make a little tutorial? Smile
