Would it be possible to have numerical control (X, Y, Z translation) when using the Extrude command?
I have found myself wanting this on many occasions
Unfortunately, if I try to do it accurately (zoom in) it jumps backward and forwards several times and it takes several seconds and lots of fiddling to get it in the right position.
The only other way around this has been to extrude then use the move command to reposition the extrusion.
This is obviously increasing the time needed for the work, to twice or even three times as long.
So work-wise and time-wise, I think this would be a good improvement - if it can be done
