Hi, i'm working hard on populating Meynheim and doing more "inner views", so i got this question: Is there an option only to recalculate parts of the lightmaps of an existing scene? Like selecting a part and doing that (meanwhile long time during) computation? That would speed up my work enormously.

Only way I know of is in the Materials Editor, you can turn on/off shadows/lightmaps for each material.

you can select what you want and go to edit-generate lightmaps-selection, however if I remember correctly this will create some extra lightmap files. You can't lightmap and have it replace some parts of the existing lightmaps, you will have to do the whole thing over again.

my advise would be to lightmap by selection while working, and when you are satisfied with the results do one final lightmap of everything.
