Is there any way to increase the grid size in the perspective view? In the Top view (for example) the grid appears to be unlimited, but in Perspective, it's quite small so objects can end up off the grid.

In Options, my Far clipping Plane is set to 30000, try that.

Nope, the Far Clipping plane tells DeleD which objects to skip drawing. Any object further away than 30.000 units won't be rendered.

The 3D grid is fixed size atm. You can set its size (e.g 16x16 etc) but not it's "size" in world space.

Then you need to reduce the scaling you are using. I have mine set to 250 major grid, and 5 minor grid, and I can see a long way with the grid in 3D.

You are working at the default DeleD grid size which is very large. I have set my grid to 128x16 as this uses 16 units of measurement typically used for most games. Be sure to zoom into the Top, Side and Front windows when working at a grid this size.
