I have refactored the X importer and put a testversion online. You can download it here: link removed

It should be able to read DeleD .x files without problems. During tests, I was able to read .x files made with Milkshape and Giles too but as I only have a few .x files here, I can't test it properly. Please give this test plugin a try and let me know if it can handle .x files created by other packages.

Note: the plugin only works with ascii .x files and won't read animation frames. It also won't read the materials yet but this will be fixed in a little while.

Edit: download link has been removed because of further work on the plugin and DeleD itself.

Getting 'unknown reason in callback structure'. The incoming reason is '4'. Do I need a DeleD update or something?

Confused I think you do really! I've been finetuning the pluginsystem a bit but forgot to mention that in the previous post. The fix will be part of the next DeleD release so no worries. Smile

DeleD will Export (saveAs) .x, but will there be a way to Import (open) .x files with DeleD?

Yes, an importer is provided with both the LITE and PRO versions as a plugin. Simply look for it in the Plugin menu. Smile Note that the importer will not import animation frames.
