I found this some years ago. I used it to access stuff from Quake .pak files and even some Myst game packages. Here's the link:

You should be aware that extracting and using the resources from a game without permission could get you into trouble. Best advice here is run this program for your own personal use.

Of course with some defunct games like Real Myst and Uru maybe you wouldn't get in too much trouble making some freeware alternative, but don't quote me on that
