I was playing about yesterday, now that my Internet connection is more stable now, with Chrome. I found an add-on http://www.homestyler.com/designer its an Autodesk product that's free to use. You can create rooms etc, so you can assess potential benefits of say an extension or refurbished layout. You can export your designs in DWG format.
I've used similar products that were installed on a local PC, but this is over the Internet, hosted in Chrome Browser as an Add-on. I haven't checked whether it works in IE 9 32-64bit. Personally I'd use it for prototyping before committing to DeleD a design/layout.
EDIT: I have checked, it does work on IE 9 64bit _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.

Ah, very nice! I was wondering about 3d design products working in browsers some time ago. Good to see an example of this! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

I was trying to think of a workflow, that resulted in the whole model, including fixtures and fittings, being imported into DeleD, the only way I can think of is, import the DWG file into 3DMax, then export as OBJ or something.
If/When I have time, I'll try it out _________________ Politeness is priceless when received, cost nothing to own or give, yet some cannot afford.
