Normal maps
I am realy hoping there is someone out there that is clever enough to implement this into DeLeD,i have allways wanted this for DeLed .

While it may certainly look cool when taking screenshots i don't see the use for them in DeleD. Because when you export your mesh it depends on what format you're exporting that supports normal maps. Usually you have material properties for the engine you're using to setup and configure normal maps.
A long time ago i made a Blitzmax DXS importer which supported normal maps from reading the second texture layer (which had a normal map dds applied) then using a generic normal map shader. This is probably the most straightforward way to implement that idea. |
