When you make a new texture and try and add it to your map, sometimes it is al ranbowy and distorted:( Does anyone know how to fix this?
How much does PRO cost? I am thinking of purchasing it:) Also, is it that much different; meaning does it have new features on it that really make it nice?
Anything you make is your right?? Even when you use the texture packs? Those are not copyrighted, are they?
I was thinking about water! A water surface would be great for some of the stuff I make! Is their any way to simulate that?
Is their anything I can do, I can useless stuff but does anyone need any help? Or Does anyone know where I could get some attention or does anyone need to have something made? _________________ I have fallen from everything and everyone and now I like to hide in some of the places I create using DeleD! |

About textures: are your sure you're using the latest version?
About PRO: see http://www.delgine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=253 or the DeleD product page. It's all there.
About water: apply a sine-wave to your textures at runtime.... |

And if you have the latest DeleD version: could you send us an example of one of these textures? There might still be problems with odd combinations of dimensions, file format and color depth. (Plus I still don't know why we put all this work into making DeleD work with 217x17 pixel images, while nobody in their right minds would _ever_ use dimensions like that in a real life production ).
Oh and about the texturepacks, they are part of the DeleD deal, so yes: you can use them for whatever you like. |

I have had the same problem with textures. I am begining to believe that because we cannot adjust the scale and tiling of our textures that strange things happen. Also it is important to be able to select a single face on an object, like a cube, and apply a texture to the one face only and not the whole cube. Untill we have this type of control over our texture mapping, then we are probably going to continue to have issues. Just another head banging session on the keyboard for Delgine!
Kind regards Brian |

The things you mention are perfectly possible, as the screenshots of Granada show. Simply select your object in Object mode using shift+leftmouse. Then goto Polygon mode and select your polygons using shift+(ctrl+)leftmouse. Then apply a material by simply selecting that material in the Material window.
Also, remember to set AutoUV off using the Object Inspector otherwise moving/scaling textures won't work (DeleD automatically calculates UV coordinates if the AutoUV property is set to true).
The selecting mechanism (and all other keyboard/mouse command) is summarized in the Help. |

DeleD 2.0 won't be reached for quite some time as we are at version 1.1 right now. If you buy DeleD 1.0 PRO, you will get all updates up to the next big version number (2.0 in this case) for free. That means that you will immediately get DeleD 1.1 PRO for free, to be downloaded at our Customer area. |

That is great Grenada. I agree, I should look further, however, time is limited and if I cannot find it through experimentation, then I pose the question until some kind person such as ypurself gives me the answer. Otherwise it may take some time for me to finally work it out. Thanks for your help. Kind regards brian. |

We fully understand, Brian, don't hesitate to ask these things. We have been planning to put some series of tutorials on the different aspects of DeleD use online for quite a while now, but alas, time is an issue for us as well. |

At this moment (2005.03.30 10:50:15 UTC) 50 euro's should be about $64.70. |

This looks like the place.
I've just got DeleD and am still playing with it .The demo anyway. I'm working on mapping a sky drum; no it's not a box it's a drum . But autoUV does wierd stuff. From what I have read up to here I see how I can map the top and bottom of the drum. But what about the sides? I would like to wrap the texture around the out side. Making the panorama to wrap around it is the easy part.l
Well back to playing, may have it figured out before I get an answer, but then again I might also be screaming obsineties at the computer by then too _________________ What forest? All I see are trees. |

I just wanted to make sure this was said again and ask is there a way to make autoUV off a default for creating new objects. |
