Hi,
following recent discussions here, I decided to release a beta of a dmf2obj converter. By dragging a *.dmf file on the exe, it creates a del.obj and del.mtl files which loads in Gile[s], Milkshape and Wings3D. UV coordinates are screwed on some triangles.
This is a sort of side effect of the upcoming dmf2map converter. Here are screenshots of a very time-efficient, yet effective model of everyone's favourite DeleD modeler in Gile[s] and Wings3D. Thanks!
Download the beta here. |

Is it possible in general? Yes.
Is it possible using this converter? No.
Is it possible using any other plugin currently available? Only if you convert it to obj using wings3d and then load it in using the obj importer. You will loose u, v coordinates in the process, but Jeroen is working on that. |
