DeleD Community Edition

I will have to apologize now. it seems everything in my life is a knock down dragout fight from the get go.
Why can't I select faces in this new version of DeleD? I can select points, and lines, but when I try to select a face the windows program running in back ground clock pops up and runs indefently. That's it, as far as I get. At that point I have to shut the program down. Confused

Dunno why this behaves on your comp. Selecting faces works fine here.

Anybody else experiencing the same problem?

I'll try an un/reinstall. Sorry folks but this sort of thing is sop for me. If a program has any bug I will find it Wink

I just kinda bring out their bad side.

1. What program is it exactly that runs in the background? Does it get activated by mouse hooks (right-click, double-click, key combo's)? Does face-selecting work if you turn OFF that program?
2. Are you selecting a face in a 2d or a 3D view? What are the exact steps you take to perform this action? At what step does the problem occur? Any alternative way of performing that particular step?

No other programs are running in the back ground. 2d view; can you work the model in the 3d view? haven't tried. select edit, select by face, 1 right click on face. Insted of the serounding lines turning red: like a line or point, the watch pops up and starts. I can't select anything except to close. Confused

Got it,

hold shift in the 3d view 1 right click. Dont konw why it does that in the 2d view. Confused

Off to working, When I get the retexturing done on Laguna Seca later this evening I'll post.

Well after a bit of a tussel; forgot I had to convert x to x in and out. My track ran, loaded and was 270 degrees out from center; it was backwars and oriented to the vertical plane. May have been the conversions. I'll have to run through them again, but it came out of DeleD looking wrong in deep ex.
Ask me if I expected anything else; not with me pushing the buttons. Laughing
