Hi Guys,
I've finished a little plugin for DeleD (It uses an Irrlicht 0.10.0 version modified by me) to create a preview of the current level, here you are a little preview:

I'll release for the end of the next week (I'm actually working on dialog, to select screen size etc... Wink ).
I Hope you'll like this, you can navigate your level like in a game with arrows and your mouse.......
I've build it with Codeblocks + Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 (I've created a new version of plugin templates for Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003, hopefully usable for Visual Studio too), so if there is someone interested please let me know and I'll publish Visual C++ templates too.
Bye Guys,
I'll keep you informed of my progresses in this plugin in the following days.
Wink

Hi Guys,
I've finished this release this night so I decided to give a RC1 to community while I'm writing other small finishes.
First of all just two shots one of the interface and one of a loaded level:

At this point you can download DeleD Level Preview Plugin version 1.0 from my site at the following address:
http://www.ilbuzzo.net/downloads/LevelPreview.zip

Ok now it's time to explain a little features:
-screen resolution chosen by user
-collision and gravity
-fullscreen if wanted
-center camera in level
-use WASD or Arrows and mouse to navigate your level like a FPS

Note that this plugin uses DirectX 9.0c so you must have them installed or it won't work.

To do in the short period:
-Screenshot saving from within engine
-Customisable controls
-Set camera position

If you have some ideas please let me know and I'll do my best to put in next release (if not planned yet).
For more infos please read the readme.txt file included.
Hey guys try it and let me know what you think about Smile
Bye All Wink

That works perfectly. Smile
Thankyou. Now I can see what my worlds look like in my prefered engine without coding. Smile

Oh, might want to tell people.... alt + f4 to exit.

Cool indeed, works well with my level, but one problem is that you can't fit through the doors Razz. May I suggest the user can scale the collision ellipse in real time, and that the camera is positoned fairly high up in the ellipse (otherwise the camera will end up half way down the door Razz).

Also jumping would be nice addition, plus when I quit (Alt-F4) DeleD always closes spontaniouly as well Sad.

Escape doesn't work. It also says in the readme to use Alt-F4, so I presume there is no other way.

Hi Guys,
As said before, I'm rewriting user commands so to give you all the necessary customisations, (I'm also adding a torch light to explore dark levels Wink ), while I'm doing this please be patient.
Hpesoj, your trouble is really strange cause here (tested on win2000 and XP machines with Directx 9.0c) all works well, I'm also adding your proposed changes for camera.
Later I'll upload a screenshot of test level with torch light Wink.
Now I must return to study Sad
Bye all Wink

Condrula... Those people can install directx9 just fine. It's about the drivers, not about the hardware. Very Happy
