Hi,
After uninstall delete lite , to grow up to new version , I need each time to re-configure my user preferences.
Is it possible to keep previous options when new version is installed ?
It's just an idea

Sure it's possible! Just save your old DeleD.ini file before uninstalling the previous version of DeleD. Then install the new version and copy the old DeleD.ini file to your installation folder. |

Just out of curiosity... I rarely ever do an uninstall (because I am lazy, and because I I guess I'd know how to fix things would they go wrong ) and I never seem to have any problems. I know we officially advice people to uninstall before installing a new version, but have there actually been people experiencing problems with it?
(Z80, keeping the configuration stored on the computer after an uninstall is not really an option. You know how annoying it is when uninstalled programs leave their trash on your harddisk ) |

DeleD's uninstaller never removes the install-directory complete because of maps, logs (for plugins) and other files that weren't part of the original installation. Therefore, copying the ini file to his new installation isn't really that bad, although it is, indeed, annoying when files are left behind after an un-install. |

Hi,
Could be interresting that uninstall program did not delete file Deled.ini , and new install program will propose to keep or not user preferences
