I have 2 dmf worlds that I would like to put together after I've lightmapped them. It takes me 1/2 an hour to lightmap each one, and I don't want to have to redo the lightmaps. Is there a way to combine them and add the 2 worlds together? I haven't been able to when I tried.

There is no way to merge two scenes including lightmaps, sorry Sad Lightmaps are "semi-persistent", after operations that affect geometry (like merging two scenes) they simply have to be recalculated as they loose al validity.

As for the actual merge of the scenes, I see two ways:
1. merge all information in one scene into one object, save as prefab, open other scene and insert prefab
2. open one scene, export to .x, open other scene, import .x

Oh, and I personally consider 30 minutes as "not bad" for the final lightmap render of a medium complex scene. I still remember waiting hours in end for my half life 1 levels to compile Smile But seriously, we will optimise things a bit in the future, but calculating lighting information will always take time.

Duhh, I forgot about the .x format. Embarassed I think I used that once before.
I already know about lighting time. My WTC world took 9 hours to light in atmosphere. Confused
I was just trying to cheat. Laughing
Thanks.
