It seems that with the new build of Deled (The last one to come out.) that the directX export pluggin has been broken.
If I make a complicated object and export it to X format, then import it back into another project, I get most of my object. Some things are missing, and some flipped. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Trucker, If it doesn't take too much of a time: could you confirm wether it is the _exporter_ or the _importer_ that is causing the problems? If you load your exported object into the DirectX mesh viewer, does it show up allright?
If this takes too much time to find out, never mind. We'll just have to put a little more effort into reproducing the problem then. Thanks again for reporting! |

I can now reproduce this behaviour. It is definitely the importer that is behaving funny, not the exporter. |

Sorry, haven't been able to log on lately. Keep getting that infernal "page not found error". (had this prob with another site last year)
Glad you found the real culprit. And yes, it's in the importer. Sorry, should have checked that. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

No problem, that's what we are here for
Sorry to hear you still are having problems accessing our site. Maybe it's some sort of DNS error, but I really don't know too much about these kinda things |

It's a problem on my end with IE.

Update: a new version of the importer is available (see this post). I am pretty sure this fixes your issue, please see if things now work for you! If you could let us know, that would be great!
Thanks! |

This new version seems to be working perfectly. Thankyou.
I tested by importing 2 different worlds and everything loaded properly. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
