Hey everyone, this is my first post here, and unfortunately it's a problem. I was working on a file in DeleD, and everything was fine when I last saved it, if I try to load it up in DeleD now I get the error 'TScene.Load NaN is not a valid floating point number'. I searched around on the forum, most people had this problem with their light positions being set to NaN. Unfortunately for me, my gometry got set to NaN It ruined my map (it was a pretty small test map anyway, but it did look kinda nice...).
I wrote a DMF loader for my engine and I can view it in my app, several faces are missing. Some people on this forum reported a way to fix that, if anyone knows it, could you post it here? Also, has there been any luck in tracking down this problem? I really like DeleD, but if it does this occasionally I really question continuing with it. Does anyone know if the PRO version does this? |

Hi there pfo, and welcome!
This is a known problem and can be fixed by replacing every NAN with a 0 (zero) in the DMF file. Just use a text-editor that has a Replace All function. We are aware of the problem and the next version of DeleD (1.34) will have this fixed in both the LITE and PRO versions. |

Excellent, glad to hear it. DeleD is really nice, I can't wait for the next version, I've read about its features on the forum. It'll be nice to have all those property controls working. I'll try fixing my NaNs with 0's, it only happened to 4 vertices so its not that bad. Thanks! |
